For the last year, I’ve been thinking about ways to dig deeper in community around growth and healing and creativity. I’ve imagined a place where conversations about things that inspire us could take place; a place where I could share new music with you. It was centered around a new album pre-pandemic. While a new record might seem far away, the wanting to dig deeper with others keeps getting louder for me.
This morning, I clicked the “launch” button to start a Community on Patreon! For those of you who aren’t familiar with Patreon, it’s a subscription-based way to support artists that you believe in. It’s like Netflix or Hulu for Art! Or, we could pretend like we’re going out to coffee once a month! Or more if you’re into that! I’ll be doing things like monthly concert & chats, lullaby’s for the kiddos, video blogs about things that inspire me, snail mail, exclusive merchandise and NEW MUSIC (as the pandemic allows)! There are a lot of different levels to engage, and no matter the tier I would be so grateful for your presence and heart. I’ve set a goal that once I reach 100 patrons, I’ll be making plans to release a new song that I am really excited to share.
There’s a saying that I love that says “If it lights you up, you’ll light it up.” My hope is that we can light each other up, and come out of this dark time together brighter and more resilient.
