Long BIO:

Annie Fitzgerald is a classically trained vocalist, award-winning Singer-Songwriter & Sound Therapist in the Minneapolis area. She brings vast experience earned in the world of entertainment including dance, theater and choreography. Her exploration and deep connection with sound began in the body. 

Annie was a School of Music Scholar and got her degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She went on to work professionally in musical theatre at the Ordway Center and as a company member at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres for several years before moving to New York City to pursue her music.

While an integral part of the NYC Indie scene, Annie was honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame and presented an award by the legendary Hal David as an artist to watch. Welcoming a move back to her home state, she is a proud member of the MN music community. Named a MN musician rising to the top, her songs are regularly featured on the Current. Her 2023 single release “Anam Cara” was on the ballot for the Current’s Top 89 Songs of 2023.

Sound & energy healing come together in Annie’s work as a Sonic Energy Medicine Practitioner, infused with Reiki & weaving in shamanic ways of working with sound. Her lineage includes Three Trees, creator of SoulMonic™ Sound Healing. She brings sound healing and meditation to companies and organizations, as well as facilitates at St. Mark’s Cathedral, the Hewing Hotel, and several yoga studio’s around the Twin Cities metro. 

Annie is also co-founder of Soul Sound & Soma – a Sound Healing Certification Program.  Annie along with her co-founder Dawn Marian train sound healers through a comprehensive, soul-centered certification program that weaves together quantum energy healing tools, somatic awareness, intuitive development, mentorship, and ceremonial practice. Annie & Dawn also co-own Under the Moon Creative, a collaborative space for transformational events, sound and energy healing, and creative expression.

Annie’s work and her music is deeply influenced by the mystical expression of life and guided by a desire for self-expression, self-love and wholeness. She is dedicating some time this year to write and is currently in the studio working on new music, which includes her first recorded sound healing meditation.
